This system will bring multiple hazards to our area tonight through Wednesday morning including heavy snowfall, gusty winds, and minor coastal flooding centered around Tuesday.

SKYWARN Activation with Amateur Radio Call-Up Nets are requested to begin Tuesday  morning, with activity centered around the DMR SKYWARN Talk Group and wide coverage repeaters, including 147.090 (+ / 100.0) in Falmouth.

IMPACTS: Significant snowfall with the potential for a foot plus of snow inland will bring a period of impacts. Moderate snow with periods of heavy snow will create hazardous travel conditions across the region. The potential exists for snowbands that will bring periods of locally heavy snowfall, which will lead to rapid snow accumulations and extremely dangerous travel conditions. The combination of heavy wet snow and gusty winds near the coast will lead to snapped branches. Isolated to scattered power outages likely.
