Hampshire…Maine…
Saco River At Conway affecting Oxford, Cumberland and Carroll
Counties.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

…FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS MORNING TO EARLY WEDNESDAY
MORNING…
- WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast. - WHERE…Saco River at Conway.
- WHEN…From this morning to early Wednesday morning.
- IMPACTS…At 13.0 feet, Flooding occurs on West Side Road in two
sections, cutting off access to hundreds of homes. River Road
flooded on the west bank impacting agricultural lands. Floodwaters
inundate first floors of properties in Transvale Acres.
At 14.0 feet, Widespread flooding occurs along the west bank of the
Saco River near Moat Brook Road, cutting off access to some homes.
Flood waters enter agricultural lands in eastern Conway and into
Freyburg.

- At 11:45 AM EST Monday the stage was 9.5 feet.
- Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:45 AM EST Monday was 9.5 feet. - Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 14.8
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
