Potential SKYWARN Activation – Friday, August 26th

Good Evening,

SKYWARN Activation is possible tomorrow, Friday, August 26th, due to the potential for severe thunderstorms. The primary time period of interest currently looks to be between 12pm and 8pm with damaging winds, large hail, and an isolated tornado possible. While the potential for severe weather exists throughout the area, the greatest threat is over New Hampshire and far southwestern Maine.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we would request remote coverage of WX1GYX. Any method possible to send in reports is acceptable, with the preferred method being population of the SKYWARN NET Reporting Google Sheet: https://bit.ly/3P5BfzY

Thank you for your help and continued partnership!
