…SIGNIFICANT SNOWSTORM TO AFFECT THE REGION THROUGH TUESDAY…

.Snow will continue to expand northward this evening and become
heavy at times, especially across southern New Hampshire. The snow
will taper off Tuesday morning and may turn to freezing drizzle by
Tuesday afternoon. Power outages will be possible near the coast
tonight into Tuesday as winds possibly gust up to 45 MPH. Near
blizzard conditions will be possible near the coast as heavy snow
and winds combine to produce low visibilities.

…WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO
7 AM EST WEDNESDAY…

  • WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12
    inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
  • WHERE…In New Hampshire, Northern Coos and Southern Coos
    Counties. In Maine, Central Somerset, Northern Franklin and
    Northern Oxford Counties.
  • WHEN…From 10 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Wednesday.
  • IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult due to low visibility and
    snow covered roads. The hazardous conditions will impact the
    Tuesday morning and evening commutes.
