…A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN YORK COUNTY…

At 411 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near York, or 11
miles northeast of Kittery, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include…
Sanford, Somersworth, Berwick, Lebanon, South Berwick, Wells, York,
Ogunquit, North Berwick and Rollinsford.

This also includes…
York Beach, Ogunquit Beach, and Wells Beach.

This includes Interstate 95 between mile markers 7 and 20.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
